Google to add a range of new features to Messages app
On October 20, Google announced that it will add a number of new features to the Messages app, including but not limited to replies, starring specific messages, and setting reminders, making the RCS a match for iMessage. Google also promised that other tools could be integrated into the Messages app in the future, such as the ability for users to watch Youtube videos in Messages, and the ability for the Messages app to automatically suggest reminders or calendar events. The app will support automatic suggestions for adding reminders or calendar events

On October 20, iQOO announced the new iQOO Neo7. iQOO Neo7 is equipped with the Tiangui 9000+ processor, LPDDR5, UFS 3.1 and Pixelworks Pro+ independent display chip. Blackmagic Design Announces DaVinci Resolve for iPad
On October 20, Blackmagic Design announced that DaVinci Resolve is expected to arrive for iPad in the fourth quarter of this year. Resolve 18 desktop version; users can also import footage directly from the iPad Pro internal storage, Photo Library, iCloud, Dropbox, Blackmagic Cloud and external USB-C drives, and supported footage includes H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic RAW; users can also transfer footage or panels to Apple Studio Display, Pro Display XDR, and other AirPlay-compatible displays. In addition, creators can collaborate remotely on projects thanks to Blackmagic Cloud support.
Microsoft WSA is about to receive a major update
Recently, Microsoft has open sourced the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) project on Github and updated the development documentation. According to the wiring diagram of the Github project, WSA will have a series of major updates including: Android system will be upgraded to Android 13, WSA will support file transfer with Windows, support for screenshots, support for picture-in-picture and default use of local network environment, etc.

Wenshi held a new conference on October 19 and launched 4 new reading tablets.
The Leaf 2 is positioned for on-the-go reading, with a 300ppi 7-inch carta 1200 ink screen panel; hardware with a Qualcomm 2.0 GHz processor, 2GB RAM + 64GB storage, integrated microphone and single speaker output; system with Android 11 and support for installing a variety of reading applications. The whole machine weighs 180 grams, with a physical page-turning button on the body to facilitate one-handed page turning.
The Nova5 is a read-write tablet with a 300ppi 7.8-inch Carta 1200 ink screen, a Qualcomm octa-core 2.0GHz processor, 3GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage, microSD card expansion, a high-sensitivity microphone and dual speakers, and a physical page-turn button. The Nova5 also uses Android 11, supports installation of more third-party applications.

Google officially releases Android 13 Go Edition
Google officially released Android 13 Go Edition on October 19, and the new version of Android Go Edition introduces Google Play system update support to ensure that devices get regular and important software updates through the Play Store. Another important change is that Android Go now requires at least 2GB of RAM to run. The software brings the Discover negative screen and the Material You design that includes the monet coloring engine, as well as some key features from Android 13, such as app permission notifications and separate app language settings. The first devices with Android 13 Go Edition will be available in 2023.
According to tipster Jon Prosser, the iPhone SE 4 will feature an almost identical design to the iPhone XR, a change that makes sense given that the first-generation iPhone SE design was based on the iPhone 5s and the second-generation design was based on the iPhone 8. However, the current information is not clear whether Face ID will be used on the iPhone SE 4, Apple may use Touch ID on the side buttons to reduce costs, and continue to equip the newer A-series processor.
